When Sarah and I arrived in Miami, and we didn't have anything in the house but an air mattress, we found the Asian Fusion Cafe in Palmetto Bay. They're very unpretentious with very good Asian food. They're not very expensive and super friendly.

We love Sage, we pick up from there quite often. Milam's has been a complete lifesaver for us because they've done such a good job of keeping everything super clean and encouraging safety. And, Joanna's Marketplace. We also got the veggie green box from Aloha, but their season has ended.

Eating House. Get the heirloom tomato and "coconut ice" salad, their beef tartare and never miss a "Dirt Cup" for dessert.

I really enjoy Whisk, with my husband, for a date night. We love Tropical Chinese. They've been around forever.

My family, for years, has been going to LAN PAN Asian. It's solid, consistent, and great. Right now, my wife and I like The Salty Donut in South Miami for coffee and donuts. Their cold brew is fantastic. We like Tigertail and Mary, for something a little hip.

It's one of our favorite questions, and one of the reasons why I read your newsletters. Although we haven't been to restaurants forever, my oldest really likes Los Ranchos at the Falls. Also Sapore Di Mare in the Grove. It's a tiny restaurant, and sometime we'll pick it up and bring it home. We've been very cautious and avoiding crowds. So, we go a lot to outside places. We go to Matheson Hammock and Fairchild, and Coral Reef Park a lot.

I love Beehive juice bar. It’s a vegan restaurant and everyday they have something different. My favorite thing there is a Pianono – which is a Brazillan dish. Books, 35 years ago, Nino was just opening his restaurant. Both of our businesses have grown together. I see Nino at least once a month buying books. It’s not on the menu (and he’ll make it for anyone) - his chicken parm is the best in town!

I am a big fan of vegetarian and vegan cuisines. There's Vegan Cuban bakery in Kendall. It sounds like an oxymoron, but their vegan croquetas are a magical thing. I love Indian food. They probably get plenty of publicity already, but Bombay Darbar in Coconut Grove. There's a really great Thai spot off eighth street in Little Havana, called Lung Yai. It's a tiny little spot, it's always packed, and they have quality food.

The Pizza Project... freshest pizza in town so any choice item is a good choice. We like the calzones.
