What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
I pretty much try to stay in Coconut Grove. I really like the curry at Atchana, it's so delicious. And, Atchana herself is just a spitfire. And then, I really like Last Carrot for lunch and then either Lokal or Spillover. Jeffrey Kushner knows what he's doing - His food is delicious. And their happy hour - $1 oysters. Are you kidding me?

My number one is LeBouchon in the Grove. And then we like all the Kush restaurants, but I especially like Spillover. The crab cakes are my favorite. Of course we're pretty much regulars at the Hole in the Wall here on 144th. Try their tuna appetizer.

Blu Pizza in South Miami - I get the Salmonparisienne.

For a pasta – in the new Brickell City Market there is a hand made pasta station. Their Bolognese is phenomenal. I really like the gator fingers at Lokal – owned by Matthew Kuscher. A new hidden gem is Shelly’s in South Miami. And on Tuesday, you can get their whole fish collar for $20.

Daily Bread is our almost “daily” ritual. We love having a variety of the food available in the fridge when we don’t feel like cooking. Three Fold - avocado toasts and almond milk lattes, Lokal: burgers and the shrimp tacos!

My family, for years, has been going to LAN PAN Asian. It's solid, consistent, and great. Right now, my wife and I like The Salty Donut in South Miami for coffee and donuts. Their cold brew is fantastic. We like Tigertail and Mary, for something a little hip.

Well, I'm super lucky because both my husband and my daughter are amazing chefs. We eat at home a lot and I get to eat the most amazing meals. When we do go out, I'd say the places we like to eat would be Mandolin, a Mediterranean restaurant with great outdoor seating. It yummy and fun. We like to eat at Lokal in the Grove. They have good burgers and I like their veggie burger and they have a delicious local IPA. Shibui is a great little Japanese restaurant. It's off of Sunset and 102nd. It looks like a little house. You can either sit at a table downstairs or sit on the floor upstairs.

Love Mandolin and their Greek Village (salad), catch of the day. Milo’s lunch special is the best in town! www.annam-miami.com does a weekly tiffin on Monday’s which abides to meatless Monday and is the best Indian ever - made with love, check out their pop up dinners around town…they’re doing a Shabbat dinner in Wynwood in March. Everything at Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller. Veggie pita at The Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. Cheeseburgers at LoKal in the Grove. Happy hour at Town in South Miami.
