What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
My wife and I usually cook during the week. If we go out, we'll do so over the weekend. The kids love anything Italian. My daughter's favorite is Villagio. Pura Vida, on the beach. They have a place now in Edgewater and the University of Miami as well. It's kind of fresh, healthy foods, and very good. When we go to the beach on Saturdays, we'll go there after for lunch and the kids love it. The last restaurant that I ate at that I really liked was KYU. I liked the octopus and there was a cauliflower dish that was really good. And from just from a casual perspective, something that's always consistent is Hillstone.

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We really love to cook, so it's hard for us to get out of that box. We like to walk around in Coral Gables and see the new things that are popping up all over. We actually went to a restaurant that was excellent the other night, called T U R. It's on Geraldo, but not on the closed off street. The food was excellent- but why do we have to have TV sets everywhere? That would be my only complaint.

Isabel

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
I really like Stubborn Seed, south of fifth. I like Lilikoi, also south of fifth. Everything's organic, I really appreciate that. We do like to try new restaurants. My husband used to have a restaurant, so he loves going out to dinner and trying new things and he's in real estate and brokers restaurant and retail deals. He's always in the know and has to check out new places that pop up. I'm usually his sidekick. Also, Plant Food and Wine at the Sacred Space- I Love, love, love what they're doing over there.

Kim

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
We do a lot of walking around our neighborhood. Ben and I are in office buildings all day. So any opportunity to be together with our girls and be outdoors is our go-to. In the evenings and weekends, we do a lot of walking to restaurants in the neighborhood. We go to Sports Grill a lot. Mia Italia is down the street. In the mornings, we'll walk to Deli Lane. Before I moved back to Miami, I was living in New York. I think this area is about as close as you can get in Miami to feeling that energy and be able to just pop in somewhere. If we're doing take out or bringing home food, I love Havana Harry's and Flanagan's. I'm a pescatarian, so we eat a lot of Mediterranean food. When we go out to eat, Mandolin is one of my favorites. If we're going a little nicer, we'll go to some Michael Schwartz places.

Ben

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
My kids love Sports Grill. It's right down the street from our house. I loved Scotty's, before it left us. I like something with a water view outside with a breeze where you can get a good fish sandwich. While you don't quite have the view, I like the patio at the Spillover, and they have music on the weekends. We'll usually go to River Oyster bar. It's kind of a go-back to our old days of being single and no kids. And if it's a nice weather night, we like going to Mandolin.

Noah

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
My favorite in South Miami is Whisk for the crispy brussels sprouts, fried green tomatoes, bacon wrapped dates, the burritos, the barbecue chicken salad, pretty much everything there is good. Joanna's marketplace is our go- to breakfast, cold brew and lunch sandwich spot. And, we've started going to Raw South.

Lucas

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
For sushi restaurant, I'd say Matsuri is one of my favorites in the South Miami. Obviously, LAN PAN Asian. I am a huge fan and it's right next to me. I've been going there for a long time. I like Italian food. Sapore Di Mare in the Grove is very good. In the back, it's so nice and quiet. Also, the Fish House, on Miller, on Thursdays has a blues night, which I frequently attend. I'm a music lover and a huge blues fan.

Heidi

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
That's tricky. I have a lot of friends in the industry. I like going to dives as much as I do fine dining. Right around here, Keg South is pretty up there...it's between the wings and the burgers. I think their wings are fried and then tossed with their hot sauce and thrown on the grill. Sometimes - the dirtier the dive, the better the food. I recently found this place Lung Yai Thai tapas. It's on eighth street. When you sit down, you order and then you can't order anything else, they will not allow you. So, it's a conundrum to order too much or not order enough. It's one of my favorite places right now.

Andy

What local restaurants or businesses do you recommend?
That's tricky for me. I cook my own food. That was a decision I made about five years ago. That way, I know what I'm putting in my body. You can go somewhere and they'll say something on the menu and then all of the sudden it's something else. When I eat out, maybe I'll have lunch at the Last Carrot in Coconut Grove. I trust the food there.
